You’ve run into what I hope is my “new and improved” website. This site, built on WordPress 3 with full network activation on the back end, replaces my solid but dated Web 1.0 “Multitool” design. Multitool served me well for several years, but it really did not grow with the web. The blog functionality in Multitool was really an add-on that looked ok, though I was never really satisfied with the design integration between the blog and the static HTML on the rest of the site.
What’s up here?
- Web 2.0 functionality across the entire site.
- WordPress 3, with Network activation, will integrate the website, my individual course websites, and more. (If I err here, I’ll fall on my face in a big way.)
- Conservative modifications to the “minimalism” theme are an ok start. I expect I’ll feel the need for a redesign fairly soon.
- Squidfingers background (again!). I’ve turned to Squidfingers too many times over the years. I think this has to be my last time.
