DS106 Comic Book Effect – Remixed

Here’s an example of the Comic Book Effect (Remix) as Meme assignment.

I made this harder than you need to make yours. I took a year-old photo of me on a bike and superimposed it over a city scene. Then I cartoonized it in Photoshop. You can use GIMP or another image editing tool. (Don’t be shy!)

Then I came up with an admittedly lame caption to build out a meme. The HARD PART of this assignment is supposed to be the comic effect. Have fun with it.

I had planned for us to do the “Demotivation Poster,” a DS106 meme assignment that flips the genre of the motivational poster. But it seems to have been pulled out of the Assignment Bank.
