Today I tried my hand at digital coloring by using the Scrap Coloring website. I actually ended up coloring 3 different pictures but only after I used the Microsoft Snip it tool to capture the image did I complete the task! Once “snipping” it, I saved it to my computer and then copied the link to this page.
There is no rhyme or reason to my coloring scheme except that I tried a wide variety of pictures and colors for the fun of it. Below is my afternoon creation. Up up and away!

I wanted to make the creation a little bigger but wasn’t able to figure out how to get it to fill up a little more of the page.

Today I created a Kaleidoscope with words of encouragement. I found the original photo on the web which was entitled Words of Encouragement Words of Hope by Eieene in Zazzle. I first went to Youtube to see which program I could use to create this. The one I first tried was sumopaint.com. It was very easy to use but only lets you save to the cloud unless you buy a membership. I then tried an old photo suite program I had on my computer but it didn’t get me enough of a distortion. finally, I used Lunapics and within 2 minutes!! had the below creation.

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory is one of my all time favorite movies. In this scene Veruca Salt tells her daddy that she wants one of the golden goose. Veruca’s daddy promises she will get whatever she wants but in the Willy Wonka factory she is told NO. She doesn’t like that word so she proceeds to throw a tantrum and ends up on the bad egg scale and off to the garbage chute!
Like usual, it took me a while to figure out what I was doing but the program IMG flip was easy to use and there is a good Youtube video that explains how to use the. I deleted the one I posted earlier because I think this one works better.

This daily create was my first try at a GIF. I used the site Giphy to create this which was pretty easy to use. I found an old picture online and saved it to my desktop then uploaded it to the Giphy site. On the site, there are a few options like stickers and reactions. Once you upload your picture, you can drag the animation onto your picture and that’s it!

I haven’t blogged about this yet but we are in training together and there is a ultimate treat that he is associating with the word HERE. So there you have it he is learning and so am I after trying everything else for over an hour.
